Over the weekend while waiting for the baby to hurry its way out. I decided to visit a ‘Baby and Kids Market’ which was at Rose Hill Racecourse at this time. This was a ‘Mum’s Big Day Out’ event which is a bigger then normal event.
I got Josh to wake up early and even though we got there a good ten to twenty minutes before it opened, there was already a line waiting to get in.
We have more then enough clothes so once we were able to get inside. We headed straight into looking at the big items and then look at the smaller items. The big items have a dedicated area which is away from the main marketing area.
Also since this was a special ‘Mum’s Big Day Out’ event there was some freebies available, as well as entertainment for kids.
I recommend going even if you don’t plan on getting anything. It just made a good place to go out for the day. Josh and myself loved it.
Also not to mention that you can really find some real bargains. Unlike eBay which you only see a picture of the items. At the market you can ask the owner if you could have a look before you buy it. So you can make sure you know what you are buying.
Here is the link for the markets. There are different locations all over Australia.
Here are some of the steals that I found at the ‘Baby and Kids Market’. They all came with the box but I took them out for the pictures.
